Consumer confidence rises in Asia: Survey

A survey discovered that Asia’s consumers feel optimistic and are confident. Singapore consumers are found to be enough confident as their Consumer Confidence Index remain unchanged at 109 points from last quarter of last year to first quarter of 2011, posted by survey.

A figure above 100 depicts optimism and figure below 100 indicates pessimism. As per Nielson Global Consumer Confidence Index optimism is widely spread with the Asia-Pacific region hitting their highest score on record.
