Beijing Autos Shares Plans of Looking into New Co-operations with Saab
On Friday, Beijing Autos shared that it is looking to explore "further cooperation" with General Motors' Saab Automobile like "new energy vehicles", and the development has followed an earlier announcement that the China based manufacturer would purchase Saab's car and engine technology from the struggling automobiles maker.
As confirmed by Beijing Autos' President Wang Dazhong, Saab is also looking for his firm to import and sell Saab brand vehicles in the Chinese automobile market, which this year has been designated the world's biggest auto sector.
RIM records impressive growth
Canada based Research in Motion Ltd, the manufacturer of popular Smartphone Blackberry, recorded a significant rise in its sales beating the forecasts of Wall Street analysts.
The firm also said that it has been in the process to make China Telecom as its Blackberry partner in China.
RIM Co-chief Executive Jim Balsillie, "We are pleased to report record shipments of more than 10 million Blackberry smart phones during the third quarter with higher than expected revenue, earnings and subscriber growth."
China Cracks Down on Porn sites promoters
The China Internet Network Information Center, a semi-government body that administers China’s domain names, is set to make registration process more rigorous. The move is aimed to strengthen the government’s anti-porn campaign started in August.
Government would also announce reward for such people, who gives credible information regarding porn sites.
Singapore Airline to make changes in routes
Singapore Airline is going to make major changes on its air routes in a bid to streamline its air operations. The carrier may increase frequency to various routes besides suspending operations to some destinations including Pakistan and Nanjing in China. The last Singapore-Karachi-Lahore flight and Singapore-Nanjing service would be on February 17 and March 26.
Apollo Global Management to Acquire Cedar Fair in $2.4 Billion Deal
Private-equity firm Apollo Global Management will be acquiring Cedar Fair in a $2.4 Billion deal, which also includes refinancing of the latter's debts, as has been confirmed by the both the parties involved.

SM Prime Looking to Solidify Overseas Market Presence
In order to solidify and boost its market presence overseas, SM Prime Holdings is now looking to put the assets owned by its Hong Kong based property under Real Estate Investment Trust in China.
The move is being viewed as an alternative to a major offshore public listing, something that the country's largest mall operator has not ruled out yet.
