Pew surveyed a total of 2,250 adults across the country, and found nearly 56 per cent saying that they own a smartphone.

The Whistle Activity Monitor is a disc-type device that tracks the pets' physical activity levels as well as their sleep patterns. The users can check-in from their smartphones, share photos and send details of the pets' health trends to veterinaries.
