Pennsylvania woman admits to poisoning a man with eye drops

Pennsylvania woman admits to poisoning a man with eye dropsVicki Jo Mills of central Pennsylvania has admitted to repeatedly poisoning a man with Visine eye drops for more than three years.

State police has confirmed 33-year-old Mills of 18250 Great Cove Road in Ayr Township, Pennsylvania, told investigators that she mixed Visine eye drops into 45-year-old Thurman Nesbitt's drinking water 10-12 times since June
2009.

Mills told investigators that she never meant to kill Nesbitt; she did it so he would pay more attention to her.

Mills' loathsome tactic came to light after Nesbitt's doctor, who had been treating him for years for symptoms like blood pressure problems, breathing troubles, nausea and vomiting for many years, contacted police on June 17 after he found a chemical called tetrahydrozoline, which is found in eye drops, in Nesbitt's blood samples.

Mills has been charged with aggravated assault, and recklessly endangering another person.

A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for 1:30 pm on Monday in Fulton County Court. Mills has been placed in Franklin County jail after she failed to post a $75,000 bail.
