Several triple-A publishers interested in OUYAOUYA Chief executive Julie Uhrman has claimed that while many major video game publishers have already promised to bring their games to OUYA console, many other triple-A publishers are in talks.

The top-tier publishers, who have already promised to bring their games to the upcoming Android-based platform, including Square Enix - the maker of the popular Final Fantasy series.

As per Uhrman's claims, the new platform has allured several streaming media companies, such as VEVO, Plex, IHeartRadio, XBMC, and streaming game service OnLive.

Speaking on the topic, Uhrman added, "I have 12- to 16-year-olds emailing me saying they want to learn to program games on an OUYA. People emailed me saying they are quitting their jobs so that they can start developing."

He also admitted that they had not expected so much support so quickly for their upcoming OUYA console.

The $99 OUYA game console wrapped up its Kickstarter fund-raising campaign on Wednesday. After setting a $950,000 goal for backers, the project raised more than $8 million to bring its OUYA prototype to market next year.
