Owners of the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi smartphones recently received WebOS 1.2.3 firmware update.

The update doesn't introduce any new apps; however, it will allow smartphone users to make use of all of the storage capacity of the device for app downloads.

It will also make some alterations to the Palm App Catalog, which will make the process of downloading new apps and updates easy.

Some of the other changes include, improved battery life in areas with poor network coverage and faster calendar performance.

Users will also be able to edit forwarded text for all email account types.

Sprint has pushed the WebOS 1.3.5 update. Smartphone users will be automatically alerted about the update.
