Boasting a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen that features 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and a 306ppi pixel density, the Galaxy S III is Samsung’s latest Android-based flagship handset which runs Android 4.0 ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ version; and features an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, a user replaceable 2100mAh battery, micro-SIM slot, and microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The Galaxy S III is a features-packed smartphone, with its four sharing services - AllShare Play, Group Cast, Share Shot, and Buddy Photo Share – comprising one of its most amusing set of features. These four sharing services together give the users of the handset the advantage of cross-platform viewing and distribution of media content. In addition, the handset is also packed with services like S-Voice and Android Beam.

The well-assembled and smartly-designed Galaxy S III is apparently an attractive option for potential smartphone buyers as the handset’s cutting-edge hardware is effectively coupled with some useful software additions.

Furthermore, in a move which an indication of Samsung following Apple’s suit, the Galaxy S III versions which the company has released across the leading US carriers – AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular – are identical, and feature a polarizing industrial design.
