HTC One X

HTC One XThe futuristically-styled HTC One X is the AT&T edition of HTC's new lineup of handsets running the Android 4.0 ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ version; and it boasts notable performance speed, blazing 4G, and a lot of power.

Considerably thinner and lighter than some of the other available handsets of its size, the $200-priced HTC One X – which measures 5.3 x 2.75 x 0.36 inches and weighs 4.6 ounces – features a smooth and bright 4.7-inch, 720p high-definition Gorilla Glass display; a Qualcomm 1.5GHz dual-core processor; the HTC Sense 4.0 user interface (UI); and the HTC Image Chip.

Running the Android 4.0 version, the HTC One X – which is scheduled to hit the markets on May 6 - boasts connection to AT&T's high-speed Long-Term Evolution (LTE) network, as well as a features-loaded 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera.

Just like any other attractive Android handset, the HTC One X – for which HTC has given its typical aluminum unibody construction a miss in favor of high-quality polycarbonate plastic - comes with the standard Google services onboard, like Gmail, Google+, and Navigation. In addition, it also brings on the Play Store to allow users to download apps from a list of more than 500,000 titles.

In fact, other than the regular Google services, the incredible One X is also preloaded with a few other compelling third-party software, including the Kindle eBook reader; the MOG music subscription service; TuneIn Internet radio; as well as some AT&T selected apps like U-verse Live TV, a bar code scanner, and FamilyMap to locate family members.
