The Aino by Sony Ericsson might have been marred by a few technical snags when it was released, but that did not affect its popularity one bit. The smartphone is still one of the most loved devices of the current times.
The phone has everything that a user could demand in a good smartphone - excellent connectivity, an amazing camera, huge amount of storage capacity and a good touch interface. Also, it is not too expensive, a mid-range effort, right behind the company's other, more expensive offering, the Satio.
Considering the price, the Aino manages to pack some great functionality.
The display of the phone is 3 inches and boasts amazing multimedia functions, and the camera is a whopping 8.1 megapixel, activated readily by simply tapping on the camera icon on the home screen.
The Aino is equipped with 3G capabilities, and has a tri-band 850/900/2100 MHz support for worldwide coverage. Also, the phone boasts high data speeds of h 7.2Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA.
PlayStation 3 fans can use the handset as a remote, and this is one of the most interesting features of the Aino, a smartphone which has managed to establish Ericsson's share in the highly competitive smartphone segment.
