Close on the heels of its release of the new PlayStation Vita handheld in Japan, Sony has shifted its focus on the US launch of the console, and has recently shared information about the entire US debut of the device and its launch window lineup.
In its post on PlayStation. Blog, Sony has disclosed that the price-range of the games for the PS Vita will fall between $9.99 and $49.99; and that all the titles will be also available on the PlayStation Store.
With as many as 25 games scheduled for launch alongside the US release of the Vita on February 22, 2012, Sony has revealed that gamers will be able to begin their purchases from February 15 - the scheduled date for the commencement of Sony's sales of first-party games and accessories, inclusive of the complete First Edition Bundle.
Going by reports, the list of Vita US launch titles will apparently feature something to suit everyone's interests, with Sony having put together a notably impressive and diverse collection of software for the system's debut.
In addition to the disclosure about Vita US launch titles, Sony has also revealed that it intends debuting all-but-essential proprietary format Vita memory card at a lower-than-anticipated cost, which begins at $20 for 4GB. Each of the Vita boxes will include six AR play cards as well as a voucher for additional AR mini-games from the PlayStation Network.
