It has been revealed according to recent reports that the World Bank is soon going to open an office for operations in Singapore.

This is going to be its first ever non-USA office that shall be run and managed in Singapore. There was an agreement deal between signed Singapore and the World Bank and there shall now be the set up the first ever branch of the bank outside Washington.

There shall be products are services offered by the firm to the people of the nation. This shall help their trade and remove barriers that were previously stopping them from developing in the East Asian countries. They shall have about 70 employees in the next three years and it shall transform into an established firm in the time to come.

Mr. Rober Zoellick is of the view that this is one step forward to his vision of development in the making sector. This shall remover the barriers between the east and west ad help to bring countries together in business.

“Instead, a democratized development process would learn from all with experience to share; knowledge and experience would flow East to West, South to South, and South to North”, he said.
