To exploit the retail war under the Black Friday c!!, the mobile coupon service provider, is planning to publicize the special coupons on iPhone and Android mobiles.
Yowza!! is a free application for iPhone and Android devices, which on being downloaded delivers location relevant coupons directly to the device. A Yowza customer can request to view all of the coupons for the stores within a short distance form him. These coupons work just the same as a paper coupon, but they get displayed on the screen of the device instead of being printed.
Till now Yowza!! application has been only available to iPhone and iPod Touch users, this is the first time its been launched on Android. It’s also expected to be launched in Blackberry/Palm in the future.
“Retail holidays” like Black Friday and the New Year sales are the perfect time to increase the shopping potential of the mobile devices. And the couponing applications like Yowza can be targeted towards the consumers who are running around the streets looking for bargains.
