Nokia has finally launched the much awaited phone, Nokia E72 in India. E72 which is one more phone in Nokia E-series is believed to be the successor of the E71, as there is not much difference in looks of both phones, the latter has been upgraded with some new features.

Unlike the E71, the E72 already has the applications like Nokia Messaging and a host of Office Productivity Suites. It will take a few steps to the users to connect to their desired IM accounts such as Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk and Ovi and many more.

The Vice President at Nokia, IIari Nurmi said, “Despite the outstanding market performance of the Nokia E71, we still continually look for ways to enhance the device, so we included the desktop like email experience from the Nokia E75 and gave it a new optical navigation key for more intuitive scrolling through menus, emails and fast panning of images.”

Nokia E72 carries other noticeable features like A-GPS and compass with integrated Maps. The function active noise cancellation provides clearer conversations.

All these exciting features of E72 will cost the buyer Rs. 22,989. The new Nokia mobile can also be ordered in advance.
