European markets and users across Europe have been waiting for a launch of their own version of the much touted Motorola Droid. The wait seems to have come to an end, as a German blog has leaked pictures of the planned European version of the Droid.

In addition to including some other important details, the blog goes on to compare the Droid's pictures with the already available HTC Tattoo, as well as claim that O2 will be the lucky carrier to get the Motorola Droid for distribution in Europe.

The expected phone will be a GSM model, and while users who truly desire it can get it imported from the US. The key features of the Motorola Droid, like the much popular large screen for a wholesome internet experience and the quick responses otherwise expected of the phone, will be missing.

While there are reports that O2's website is already throwing around hints about the launch of the European Motorola Droid, no confirmations have been made yet.
