What happens if two leaders meet? As yesterday the pioneer in Mobile phone- Nokia completed its 15 years in India, it was Red FM – one of the most heard FM channel in country that celebrated it. The day was celebrated in an unusual way with LIVE callers calling in on the channel and sharing their Nokia moment with red FM's RJ.
The event was interesting in a way because this activity was aired on the huge network of 47 stations across the country. They even attempted to create a new record in Limca Book of Records.
Besides the Nokia Moment activity, a radio blog was also created wherein listeners could post their good wishes for Nokia. Even the channel's branding was also changed to Nokia's famous tag line of “Connecting people” for the entire day. Then the lucky winners were even rewarded with Nokia merchandise that participated in Nokia Day celebrations.
As B. Surendar, Senior VP & National Sales Head, Red FM, commented that RD FM has always partnered its associates and launched innovative activities and Nokia collaboration is quite natural to it.
The channel that was launched in 2002 only has created a new milestone for itself with its path breaking content and strategies.
