As a part of the limited edition bundle to be made available starting November this year, gaming giant Nintendo has confirmed its plans to release a Black version of its popular model Wii in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The limited edition Black Wii package will include Wii Remote (with MotionPlus) and Nunchuk in black, along with copies of Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. While exact pricing for the bundle has not been confirmed yet, speculations are that it will cost near-about what a similar package released in Japan in August was priced at.

The launch of the Black Wii in the European market around Christmas, where holiday season sales start a little early than elsewhere, and before the US, is further proof that Nintendo takes the European market very seriously. As the company's UK product manager for Wii, Rob Lowe says, "Nintendo has always taken the European market seriously and this isn't the first time a product has launched in the UK or Europe before the US".

In addition to the limited edition Black Wii gaming console, Nintendo is also all set to offer a range of black accessories, including the new Classic Controller Pro, which will launch across Europe on November 20.
