RIM has proclaimed of the generation next Blackberry OS 6 mobile operating system.

The official videos released boast of revamped home screen making navigation much easier, the user interface has been made compatible for all touchscreen smartphones like the Blackberry Storm or for the apparent futuristic Blackberry tablet device.

Users can expect a new media interface that comes with more social networking features aiming towards to consumer media loaded with context menus with new applications.

In addition to this a Universal Search feature (which is unlike Apple's Spotlight) as well a new browser will come with Blackberry OS 6.

Cnet claims that RIM makers are busy promoting its Blackberry Messenger application to spread the usage across existing users. Also Blackberry to Blackberry instant messaging service comes free which means one can save their monthly allowance.
