Vizio, one of the famed names of US-based consumer electronics company has pronounced the launch of three Wi-Fi-equipped Blu-ray players and has dual-band HD router that employs the usage of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to maximise speed and range across all types of media and data.
It was further stated that the XWR100 router has been launched to meet the demands of HD media streamed to the latest Blu-ray players and other VIA-enabled devices.
VIA (Vizio Internet Apps) has been upped to deliver wireless on-demand movies, music and other media from services such as Vudu and Pandora. It is through the wireless router one can configure to share a high-speed Internet connection to other Internet capable devices, including laptops, game consoles and smart phones.
The router that soon shall be available from the third quarter, is priced at $99.99, while the three Blu-ray players will be available this summer for around $190.
