April 21 will be celebrated as Administrative Professionals Day in this year. The day is marked as a day to appreciate the entire workforce of the company who help it making a going concern. On the other hand, the full last week of April is celebrated as Administration Professionals Week.

Gifts, cards, flowers and candies are exchanged during the whole week. It will be the 58th year of celebration.

The smooth functioning of the enterprise takes place because of the Administration staff, they work in the background. They are credited of working continuously, throughout the day, round the clock to make the organization survive.

The administration staff does not favor technology and are of the view that it made the work more difficult.

In 1952, the administrative professional’s day was for the first time celebrated as National Secretaries Week. Now, as years have passed, it has turned out to be a main event. It acts like an encouragement to the workers.
