Dockwise bags eight new contracts

Dockwise Ltd, a subsidiary of Dockwise Shipping, has bagged eight new contracts for transporting jackup drilling rig and port and marine infrastructure. The firm expects revenue of approximately US$27 million from the recently allotted contracts.

The company, with its partners, will transport one jackup to Egypt, a barge to Australia and dredging equipment to United States. It will also transport river tankers to Panama and 3 ferries in different journeys to Abu Dhabi, under this contract to be carried out in Q3 and Q4 2009.

The company, having more than 1200 people working in offshore and onshore areas, is a leading marine contracts provider in the world. The group is headquartered in Bermuda, and has various commercial centers located in the Netherlands, the United States, China, Korea, Australia, Brazil, Singapore and Nigeria. It has a vast network of agents in Japan, Malaysia, Spain, Norway, Argentina and Italy.
