Strong Demand Results in Shortage Of Supply for Intel's Six-Core Core i7 980X Gulftown

IntelUnexpectedly almost all the produced Core i7 980X Gulftown, Intel’s six-core processors have been sold in Europe. Due to a hint of not completely stable economy, Intel had carefully produced limited of this specific processor. However it has not been much time since chips were launched.

It has also been known that the product is facing a shortage of supply in US and Japan, confirmed CNET. It is somehow appearing unacceptable that sale so heightened that the demand has not been able to reached, even though the chips were intended to trade into “ultra-high” market.

The device priced 900 Euro was not accepted to be overburdened by so many orders as the company predicted a limit sale.

Like the mobile processor stock of Intel, which is recently being reported to be facing certain intense challenges, the quick sale makes it clear that Intel is blanketed with the issue of unyielding chip supply.

It had been readily accepted if the shortage would have resulted by some technical production error but strong demand ending up a reputed chip maker with lesser number of manufactured devices seems unreal and unbelievable.
