With Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening, players will be returned to a familiar and fair fantasy world once again, where some degenerate demons, knows as darkspawn, have managed to ravage the entire land. Although the forces of evil might still be lurking, fans and ardent lovers of 2009's popular Dragon Age would be able to easily settle into the title's first ever complete expansion pack, which tend to contain a few surprises.
The game promises to deliver all that has been promised and is being expected.
Awakening, however, does not seem to be as exceptional as the main title that was previously released, and neither do its story and character manage to make much of an impression, which might come as a disappointment to some as Dragon Age was indeed worth all the hype.
But in spite of some frustrations and disappointments here and there, Awakening does come out as a terrific game in the end. There is nothing groundbreaking or highly extraordinary about it, but it is pretty entertaining and interesting.
Some new character, a few surprises, more challenges and interesting game play and story line are the main highlights of Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening.
