At the end of the Apple-Samsung patent hearing in San Jose, US District Judge Lucy Koh - who is reviewing an August verdict that awarded Apple $1.05 billion in damages from Samsung - urged both the companies to end their patent-infringement lawsuits which they are currently fighting in different countries.

In the high-profile Apple-Samsung trial in California on Tuesday, U. S. District Judge Lucy Koh once again blocked Samsung from using evidence which, according to Samsung's lawyer John B. Quinn, was "critical" to invalidating Apple's main allegations in the lawsuit.
