Google to finance, develop wireless networks in emerging markets

Internet search giant Google Inc has reportedly plans to finance, develop and help operate wireless networks in several emerging networks ranging from Southeast Asia to sub-Saharan Africa.

According to a recent report published in the Wall Street Journal, Google hopes that its intended wireless networks could help connect as many as one billion people to the Internet in emerging countries.
