Within days of Google's launch of its newest version of its Android mobile operating system - version 4.1 `Jelly Bean' - for smartphones and tablets, the company's Android Open Source Project (AOSP) has now released the next raw version of the open-source code to the developers, so as to enable them to start working on future updates and releases.
