South Korean electronics major, Samsung has announced the launch of its new smartphone platform Bada in the Indian market. The company has also announced plans to reduce the prices of its smartphones in the country by the end of this year in order to expand its market share.

Samsung launches Galaxy S worldwide

The smartphone is powered by 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird CPU and 512 MBs of RAM that process apps efficiently and with great speeds. Samsung is also offering the Social Hub integrated messaging facility on the handset along with its TouchWiz 3.0 user interface.
