London, Jan 19 : Jennifer Lopez's manager has denied reports that the singer was unhappy with her picture on the cover of People magazine that made her look "old".

However, looking at the dated looking photo of the star, it's not hard to see why the initial story took hold.

The rumours began when the 50-year-old actress, who has never revealed her identity of her boys' father, thanked him for his support during her speech at the Golden Globe awards, the Mirror reported.

London, Jan 18 : Pamela Anderson has been asked to pay 19,500 pounds for a property in her home town of Ladysmith, British Columbia.

The Canadian actress, who already owes the US Government's Internal Revenue Service 162,000 pounds in unpaid taxes, was handed the third tax bill in recent months, the Sun reported.

The former `Baywatch' star is also in debt to the state of California after clocking up nearly 70,000 pounds of unpaid bills in 2011. (ANI)

The Manchester-based firm N Brown, which signed Flintoff as a brand ambassador for its menswear range Jacamo last July, saw like-for-like sales rise 7.9 per cent in the 19 weeks to January 12, the Yorkshire Post reported.

London, Jan 18 : Once popular MTV VJ in India Sophiya Haque, who had been performing in the West End production of `Privates on Parade', has died in London after battling cancer. She was 41.

Haque, who also appeared in `Coronation Street', was diagnosed with cancer before Christmas, the BBC reported.

She was suffering from pneumonia and was understood to have developed a clot on her lungs.

Washington, Jan 18 : "Dear Abby" advice columnist Pauline Phillips died in Minneapolis on Wednesday. She was 94.

Phillips had suffered from Alzheimer's disease for years, but was still dishing out advice to readers as recently as 2002, though her daughter Jeanne took on co-authoring duties in the mid-1990s.

"I have lost my mother, my mentor and my best friend," Jeanne told TMZ. com in a statement.
